Come on a musical fairytale adventure – as Sophie Spargo plays classical piano music inspired by fairy tales. With excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and ‘Nutcracker,’ Ravel’s ‘Mother Goose,’ as well as music inspired by mischievous elves, castles, dragons, fairies, princes and princesses, there will be something for everyone.

With a Masters Degree from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Sophie is a professional pianist, composer, arranger, and accompanist. She enjoys working with babies and toddlers, running a weekly childcare music program and regularly performing at playgroup, and works as a piano teacher both in schools and privately for her day job. Favourite performance highlights include organising and performing in ‘New Works by Young Composers’ at the Sydney Opera House, and the performance of her operas ‘The White Cat’ and ‘Trilby’ at the Victorian Arts Centre. Sophie enjoys sharing her love of music with audiences of all ages, especially bringing this fairytale concert to your little ones!
