FAQs

If you’re new to Mini Musica, you probably have some questions about our family-friendly concerts. You’ve come to the right place.

The Concert Experience

The performance length is approximately 40 minutes to suit young families. As a guide, you can expect a 30-minute themed concert followed by a 10-minute interactive, especially for our younger audience members. You’re always welcome to sit back and enjoy or get up and participate in a singalong of childhood favourites, dance a jig or flamenco – whatever is the flavour of the day!

Seating is small-scale theatre style, fostering an intimate performance experience. If your little ones prefer tummy time or want to be on the move, BYO throw, rug or cushion and find some floor space near the stage.

Our venues are wheelchair and pram accessible, often with dedicated pram parking available. Check your venue for specific details.

During the concert please switch your phone to silent so you and others around you can enjoy the music.

Out of respect for the performers and your fellow audience members, our venues are food-free zones. Please do not bring food into the concert, but water is welcome. All venues are breastfeeding-friendly.

Photographs taken during concerts by Mini Musica or a third party on behalf of Mini Musica are never published with names or any identifying information. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, that’s no problem. Just have a quiet word with our photographer. If you wish to take videos or photographs of your own family, please only do so during the interactive section of the concert, not while the musicians are playing their set.

Mini Musica operates in line with the health advice of the NSW Government, but here’s how you can help:

  • If you or your child are feeling unwell, please don’t attend a concert.
  • Get in touch with us to exchange your tickets (no refunds).
  • We encourage you to BYO hand sanitiser and masks to Mini Musica events.
