Dorian Mode, a highly acclaimed jazz pianist and composer and holds multiple awards to his name. After completing his studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Dorian’s exceptional talent led him to sign with EMI Records, becoming one of the few local jazz artists to secure a major record deal in Australia.
Violinist Phoebe Haselden is a founding member of the Mimosa Duo. Phoebe studied with scholarship at the Sydney Conservatorium in classical music. Since graduating in 2009 Phoebe has performed at the Sydney Opera House and toured extensively both locally and internationally including France and New Zealand.
The performance length is approximately 40 minutes to suit young families. As a guide, you can expect a 30-minute themed concert followed by a 10-minute interactive, especially for our younger audience members. You’re always welcome to sit back and enjoy or get up and participate in a singalong of childhood favourites, dance a jig or flamenco – whatever is the flavour of the day!
